The Belshazzar's Feast Project in Bristol is a fundraising concert event scheduled for April 4, 2027, at the Bristol Beacon. The concert will feature the world premiere of two commissioned works by local composers, Tom Green and Liz Lane, and will support two charities: Help Musicians and the Bristol Music Trust. The event aims to raise significant funds for these charities, which provide support for professional musicians and promote music and the arts in the region. We are gathering together a cast of around 300 amateur musicians to perform Belshazzar's Feast to raise a significant sum for our two wonderful charities, Help Musicians and the Bristol Music Trust. There are no fees at all to participate in this project, but we invite you to make a voluntary donation to our charities. Currently, all donations go to Help Musicians as you can’t have more than one charity on a JustGiving page, but rest assured that a reconciliation will be made post the concert so each charity gets 50% of the amount raised by the project. We really hope that you can be generous so that we can meet the £10,000 target from participants. We can meet this target with an average donation of £35. Even if you are unable to sing or attend the performance on 4 April 2027 we would be delighted if you are able to make a donation to these charities via this JustGiving page and thank you in advance. |
