The event, which has become a beloved tradition in the city, will take place on Sunday, June 16th, at Baltic Wharf on the Bristol City Harbourside.
Bristol Breakfast Rotary Club, renowned for its commitment to community service, has been at the helm of the Dragon Boat Festival since its inception, raising an astounding £830,000 over the years. This year's festival aims to continue the legacy of fun-filled competition while supporting charitable causes.
Dragon Boat Racing, a sport steeped in centuries-old tradition originating from China, will see teams competing in elaborately decorated canoes adorned with dragon heads and tails. Proceeds from the festival will support Penny Brohn UK, a Bristol-based charity dedicated to providing holistic cancer health and wellbeing support.
