Thank you for taking the time to look at or website. It should give you a flavour of the wide range of events and activities that you could be a part of.
This club is fun and informal but with a clear purpose of enabling each of our members to ‘put something back’ into our community – not just in Bristol, but around the world. As John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural address, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country”.
And that ethos leads us to a wealth of amazing opportunities. Providing leadership and management skills to students at The Bridge Learning Campus in Hartcliffe; donating weekly to the local food bank; raising funds for charities at our Art Event; organising the Bristol Dragon Boat Festival; a charity motorbike ride around India; visiting and supporting vocational students and an electric cooking initiative in Nepal; school development and clean water wells in Africa… The list of what you can achieve within Rotary is as endless as your imagination.
The emphasis is on enjoying what we do, meeting new challenges and making some good friends along the way.
With something new this year; our Two Minute Hat Talks at each of our meetings. An unusual way to learn more about our members.
So, if you want to ‘put something back’ – and have fun whilst doing so – please come along to one of our breakfast meetings. A warm welcome and a hearty breakfast awaits you every Wednesday morning. And I would like to hear what ideas, enthusiasm and skills you can offer…
