“We make a living by what we get.
We make a life by what we give.”

– Winston Churchill

Rotary is a not-for-profit service organization that brings together professionals and business leaders to promote peace and goodwill around the world.

Rotary clubs are non-religious, non-political and open to everyone.

Our lively club has more than fifty members, and together we’ve raised more than £1 million for nominated charities since our club’s founding in 1989.

We believe in doing good in our own lives, our community and our world.

Before COVID restricted travel, some of our members regularly visited impoverished villages in Nepal to help build schools and advocate for improved sanitisation.

One of our fun-packed fundraising events held annually is the Dragon Boat Festival in Bristol Harbour.

One of our most beloved and well-known fundraising events takes place every summer in Bristol Harbour, raising more than £20,000 each year for our nominated charities.

As an inherently business-minded group of people, we do charity differently.

Since Rotary International was founded in 1905, clubs around the world have collectively spent more than £2 billion on sustainable, life-changing projects. As we are largely volunteers involved directly with projects, approximately 92% of funds are spent directly on charitable projects.

Learn More About Us

Our annual corporate golf tournament is held at the prestigious Bristol & Clifton Golf Club.

We’ve raised hundreds of thousands of Pounds Sterling for nominated charities through our golf tournament and the ensuring charity auction.

Would you like to get involved?

Come along to an informal breakfast meeting Wednesday mornings. You can find out more about our projects and how you can give back to your community while having fun with like-minded people.

We have been meeting online on Zoom since April 2020, but are now meeting in person again at Redland Green Tennis Club, Redland Green Road, Redland, Bristol BS6 7HF.
