Bristol Breakfast Club welcomes Cassie and Elaine

New member Cassie Grigg (third from left), who joined Bristol Breakfast Rotary Club today is pictured here with, from the left recent new member Elaine Milne, who gave an excellent talk about the use of Lego clubs in schools to build confidence outside the classroom, Doug Karson, also a fairly recent new member, who ran Bristol’s first “Art Live” fundraiser in March, Tony Hughes, who introduced Cassie to the group, Paul Spaven the current President and Bob Whittington, still wearing the hat which formed the subject of his Hilarious Hat Talk at the breakfast meeting.

The thirty two members from the club who attended the weekly meeting at the Redland Green Tennis Club also enjoyed a choice of breakfasts and another talk by club member Colin Shurrock summarising progress on a project to replace smoky wood-burning stoves with electric cookers in Nepal in order to improve health outcomes and save lives.
