DESCRIPTION:The Belshazzar's Feast Projectin Bristol is a fundraising conce
rt event scheduled for April 4\, 2027\, at the Bristol Beacon. The concert
will feature the world premiere of two commissioned works by local compos
ers\, Tom Greenand Liz Lane\, and will support two charities: Help Musicia
nsand the Bristol Music Trust. The event aims to raise significant funds f
or these charities\, which provide support for professional musicians and
promote music and the arts in the region.We are gathering together a cast
of around 300 amateur musicians to perform Belshazzar's Feast to raise a s
ignificant sum for our two wonderful charities\, Help Musicians and the Br
istol Music Trust. There are no fees at all to participate in this project
\, but we invite you to make a voluntary donation to our charities. Curren
tly\, all donations go to Help Musicians as you can’t have more than one
charity on a JustGiving page\, but rest assured that a reconciliation wil
l be made post the concert so each charity gets 50% of the amount raised b
y the project. We really hope that you can be generous so that we can meet
the £10\,000 target from participants. We can meet this target with an a
verage donation of £35. Even if you are unable to sing or attend the perf
ormance on 4 April 2027 we would be delighted if you are able to make a do
nation to these charities via this JustGiving page and thank you in advanc
e.
